Man Oh Man is what I meant to type."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."
Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

You have the time to bike five hours? Lucky dude."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

You better win. You are marathon training. I am training to allow me to eat stuffing and gravy. I simply do a little each day. However, this challenge is encouraging me to be more consisitent.Originally posted by Pheidippides View PostI was trying to see if I could get Topper to take the bait. He obviously did, and took advantage of my travel plans."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Same. Unfortunately my calf seized up on this morning's run; hopefully it's just travel dehydration and this evening's run will be good.Originally posted by Topper View PostYou better win. That is the benefit of switching exercises. You can irritate another muscle group to annoy all body parts in the end.Originally posted by Pheidippides View PostSame. So which are you training for? I thought I looked and didn't see you on the Chevron again. Have you seen the Yeungleng (sp?) in VA Beach in March? They have a challenge now where you run the 5k and 10k on Saturday or something like that, followed by the half and the full on Sunday. Looks way overpriced, as they're going for the Goofy Challenge kind of event.Originally posted by Pheidippides View PostSame. The so-called Dopey Challenge. 5k, 10k, half, full. Just like you describe. I'm honestly in good enough shape to run it and do okay now. Unfortunately, I've now contracted whatever nasty thing my wife had, so I may be down more than a couple of days - possibly until I get back to Houston. So I'll have some ground to make up.Originally posted by Parrot Head View PostSo which are you training for? I thought I looked and didn't see you on the Chevron again.
