My reward for Monday. I've had lots of blister and even an achilles tendon strain from over use, but a bruise on the top of my big toe is something completely new. The last couple of days have been sore. I pushed myself to 7 miles today. I'm more proud of that than what I did Monday.Attached FilesA man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life. - Mohammad Ali

My run yesterday was technically done in the wee hours of today - I postponed it to chill with my daughter for a few hours - but I'm still inputting it as yesterday. Today's workout yet to come.
JIC and CJF, you're going to force me to break out the bike and hit the pool if you're not careful. I wasn't planning on doing that until next month.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to have to get on the bike next week.Originally posted by Pheidippides View PostJIC and CJF, you're going to force me to break out the bike and hit the pool if you're not careful. yesterday was such a nice day, when the time came to turn for home, I thought "to heck with it" and did an extra 2.5 miles
I may be small, but I'm slow.

Me and my 10-ish miles a week are in.Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

All week I've had a head cold/flu type sickness. It sucks, especially since I had a big ride planned for tomorrow. I'll probably still do the ride but cut it down a bit...unless I started coughing like crazy at which point I'll just stop.
Nice to see the miles people are putting in. We've got some real runners/triathletes here. JiC's numbers are especially crazy! Good work so far all!"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. I am on call the next 3 days so, I will be happy/lucky to get one session in.
