It's going to be 25 degrees colder today than my last run on Wednesday. Time to break out the tights and layer it up for the first <32 degree run of this fall/winter.
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Today was a beautiful morning for a walk/jog. It was a little chilly (the bank signs said 35), but it was dead calm.
I went up to the base and walked/jogged the perimeter road. I've never done that before.
I may be small, but I'm slow.

I've been watching your totals; you're really up there. Is this how you usually train for a 5K, or is something else factoring in?
This is just winter base mileage. Last race was a 17-miler in early September, since then it's almost exclusively easy running. Last year I worked off a base of about 40, and then when it came time to get ready for a stretch of races, that came down to 30-35 while I threw in weekly tempo runs and speedwork at the track. I guess I'm becoming a big believer in the benefits of having as good an aerobic base as you can, but not overdoing it too much (I'll hang at 50 mpw now, I'm no PDip), from which to operate once race-specific training time comes. Also I have this idea in my head that I could run any race up to a half anytime I want, which feels nice. But yeah, the ultimate goal in my mind is still bringing that 5k time down.
Way too long answer, but there you go. You're putting in serious miles yourself.
I'm needing just under 14 miles today to finish the first two weeks at 125. Not sure if I can do it. I put in 9 this morning but now I'm on a plane headed to Manila. I do have 7 hours of layovers, so I'll try to get the rest in then. I've lost 11 pounds in 13 days. Not bad, but I'm tired and legs and feet hurt.
