Reminiscent of Durango Hills. I played there last week with my boy and had to really dig into the bunkers to get out.

I would be pretty upset about the sand issue if I were a tour player (now knowing the 4-5 inches rule). Wheatcroft appears to be placing the blame squarely on the course.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

For a hack like me, nothing is more frustrating than having inconsistent bunkers on the same course (if all courses could only be like ECC!). Obviously the rules prevent a practice swing. It would be interesting to know if he, or any of his playing partners were ever in that bunker prior to the blade runner. I'm sure for many a journeymen or web.com player it often feels like the breaks always go against them; I feel bad for the guy.

Though in fairness to RBC, I always get confused when I convert from inches to cm too (and I'm likely one of the few people on here who has to do that on the regular)

        • Tick and I played a fun round today as he passed through Eugene. I was going to recreate my 40-40 I shot in Arizona but decided to try going over 100 instead. Not as enjoyable. Tick plays really consistent and has a nice smooth swing.

          • Tick got to play Eugene CC?

I hope you told him how exclusive it is...

It used to be exclusive, then they let me in.

Have they had to empty the pool after your boys yet, only to find it was a Baby Ruth bar?

I don't remember the last time I decided to shoot in double digits. Do scrambles count?

I saw a pic, saw it was sideways and knew it was yours before even reading the message. Never change.

                    • Nike announced today that it will no longer make golf equipment - bags, balls, clubs - and will instead focus on apparel and shoes.

So, after this, where do Tiger and Rory go for clubs? I'm betting Tiger goes back to Titleist.

                        Tiger is still golfing?

That is a good point. I saw him on the bag for his son's tournament a while back. He might have transitioned to the next phase in his career already.

Rory won't be able to get back to his Titleist clubs fast enough.

There was a rumor that the president of PXG apparently offered Rory on Twitter. Don't see anything on it though.

That would be interesting. I think it will be fun to see what happens with that brand if/when it finally lands an A-List player.

As for Nike, it will have to allow the players it sponsors to wear other logos in addition to the swoosh, right?
