Generally when a pro misses something that badly, it is very obvious in their swing (thing of Tiger's one handed follow throughs on many a snap-hook). However, Watney's swing looked fairly smooth. Donut's favorite part is around the 52 second mark.

These are my last few scores. The wheels were really falling off and I was just about ready to hang it up for good. Then I figured out a hitch in my swing and now I'm back where I was."I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull's a$$, but I'd rather take a butcher's word for it". - Tommy Callahan III

I am very close on pulling the trigger. I am sick of shanking my third shot into a bunker when Im 30 yards to the hole on a par 5. 4 times in a row now......Originally posted by Donuthole View PostI know Clack has some thoughts on it

I have the chipping yips and have tried everything to beat it. What I've found is no matter what club you use that if you put a poor swing on the ball you will get a poor shot and a good swing results in a good shot. It's not the arrow it's the Indian, try fixing the problem before buying a new magic club and you will save yourself a lot of pain and sorrow.Originally posted by Y84it View PostHave any of you used this type of club?

Oh man do I feel your pain. Try swinging with both feet together. Keep your head down through the shot.

I've got a 3:30 tee time for my sons, a nephew and I at Murray Parkway. First time out this year."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

I went out a noon to practice and found that standing closer to the ball helped. The club came into the ball with a more descending stroke and I made better contact. I will try keeping the feet together when I go out.Originally posted by byu71 View PostOh man do I feel your pain. Try swinging with both feet together. Keep your head down through the shot.

Sorry 'bout that. I should have invited you and told my nephew to take a hike.Originally posted by Donuthole View Post

I know, poor grammar. I'll blame it on the excitement of a tee time.
As for my round, it was awful. I shot a 93 and I have nothing to blame but myself. I started the round by putting the ball into the lake off the first tee and scored an 8. I only hit one green in regulation. That's right, I missed the green on 3 of 4 par threes. And my putting? Let's just say that Saint Andrew would reject my request for advocacy.
Still, it was better than staying home and watching tv.Last edited by il Padrino Ute; 05-15-2013, 10:01 AM."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill
