Her most recent performance on AGT was actually really good.
she's good, but i'm afraid everybody is playing for second place at this point. the little ventriloquist girl is unstoppable.

Rob Graham pleaded guilty last week.

Graham, 52, who is in custody at the Clark County Detention Center on $5 million bail, pleaded guilty before District Judge Kerry Earley to two felony counts of theft and three counts of exploitation of an older/vulnerable person. He faces a prison term of 16 to 40 years at his Jan. 11 sentencing.
In the courtroom, Chief Deputy District Attorney J. P. Raman, the lead prosecutor in the case, read aloud the names of more than 110 clients who deserve a share of the $16 million in restitution prosecutors will seek against Graham.
The money was stolen between 2011 and 2016, Raman said in court papers Thursday.
The thefts — which ranged from as little as $20 to more than $1 million — occurred in 64 estate cases, 21 trust funds, 10 guardianship cases, and four special needs trusts, the court papers show.
Longtime estate attorney Robert Graham pleaded guilty in District Court Thursday to stealing millions of dollars from clients, many of whom relied financially on trust funds he oversaw.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Only 110? The lawsuit brought by his malpractice insurer (trying to void his $2 million aggregate coverage) said it has received letters from 389 potential claimants.

The church needs to find someone else to do their negotiations, how many people would even want this?

Purchased for $2,500. Sold for $35 million.

              Not a bad investment.

I'm super disappointed if the church really paid $35 million for that. Why?

Had to look it up to make sure, but you are correct.

Did you guys read the article?

“I thought the value of the manuscript exceeded $100 million, and the LDS Church got a good value,” Hajicek said.
Of course, not as good of a deal as they could have made back when it was acquired by the Community of Christ for $2500 and the LDS church passed on the bidding back then.

                      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

The church has upwards of $20B in assets and the CoC is struggling. I look at this as kind of a gift to them.

It's a relic and in 2,000 years we'll be just like the Catholics. Need to gather this stuff up while we can. I wonder how much we'd have to pay for Jospeh smiths heart...

I'm pretty happy to see 35 million dollars transferred from the LDS church to the Community of Christ.

Don't plan that podcast just yet, bro. Your tithing dollars might not have gone to it:

LDS Church officials praised the Community of Christ for its care of the document, and in a statement expressed thanks to “generous donors who provided the means to acquire this treasure.”

Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

I believe the CoC needed the money to fund pensions, etc. for some of its older, retired clergy, so yes, looks like a win-win here.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
