his wife worked at his firm with him. it would be shocking if she weren't involved.

She has filed for divorce, if I understand correctly. I've had a few cases against him, but this development is surprising.

Someone on CB last week claimed to be pretty close to the situation. They said that the couple was in the middle of going through a divorce and the stress of that cause this lawyer to make some poor decisions. Sure. All that stuff must have been deleted because I can't find it anymore.

Exactly. I wouldn't be surprised if he took the route some of those HOA attorneys took. He is life is over. He has no family; his wife is divorcing him; he'll never be an attorney or any other type of professional and and orange jump suits will be his new fancy attire.

I believe they have left the state. He may have children but given what has happened, they may not have contact with him. Imagine sitting in jail while your children grow up. He's going to be in jail for ten to twenty years. He's fifty-two, a BYU law grad IIRC, and won't ever see a normal day again. His life is soooo over. For an upper middle class professional, his life is forever the shits and probably not worth living. It's going to get a whole lot worse.
