Growing up in Boise, I don't remember seeing uncovered breast feeding in public, though saw plenty who covered with a small blanket.

In Argentina, saw it probably at least monthly on average.

Unless a woman used her breast to deliberately block my view of my TV or my book I could not possibly care

Why should she use a cover is the better question.

I'm sorry that a woman using her breast for the biological reason that they exist is so offensive to you. Fortunately, your position is not the one that is protected by the majority of states. I actually think that your position is becoming increasingly in the minority.

There are also a lot of reasons that a woman cannot use a cover.

The vast majority of women that are breastfeeding without a cover in public are doing so in a very discreet manner. It is usually pull the shirt down just enough to have the baby latch on. The child's head pretty much completely covers the breast. Usually the only way you are going to see something is if you are trying to see something.
