    • Funk did you actually read this woman's posts? Or did you just read the buzzfeed article? becasue no one should ever be excommunicated based on what someone else wrote about them, right? This woman is wacky, to be sure, but after browsing through a few of her posts I don't think she is anything at all like Kate Kelly Or John Dehlin. I have no problem with her not being excommunicated, although I would hope she would become smarter and more Christ-like on her own.
      PLesa excuse the tpyos.

Yes I've read her posts. She promotes that it is church doctrine that the United States belongs to white people.

Frankly, I don't think anyone should be excommunicated. However, this woman is much more damaging to the church that someone who marries a same sex partner.

If that's the comparison you want to make, then go ahead and make it. But that is not a comparison with Kelly or Dehlin, as you well know.

Add in she has openly talked about church leaders being deceived and led astray because they have wanted to help refugees. She is more damaging to the church than Kelly or Dehlin.

Imma stop you right there. Because I don't believe for a second that you don't understand exactly why nobody is calling for her excommunication. You aren't interested in a discussion.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Funk, I hope you live a long and happy life. Free from stress about life's inconsistencies.

                        • I am going to say the difference is that while this woman is coo coo, she wants to stay in the church and believes in it. Dehlin and Kelly did not, they wanted to be martyrs and lie on the sword for truth and justice. Simialr to funk they are social justice warriors.

Haha. I just ran across this quote today. What are the odds?

“Carry on. Things will work out. If you keep trying and praying and working, things will work out. They always do. If you want to die at an early age, dwell on the negative. Accentuate the positive, and you’ll be around for a while” Gordon B. Hinckley

GBH has such good advice for Funk. Remember the quote last week about being cynical:

"We have every reason to be optimistic in this world. Tragedy is around, yes. Problems everywhere, yes. But...you can't, you don't build out of pessimism or cynicism. You look with optimism, work with faith, and things happen."
