expand your consumer-base, grow your organization, protect your brand, tweak your product to maximize benefits while minimizing risks.
If a few malconents with keyboards in the US were capable of really hurting the product, I think we'd see a crackdown. But the church is focusing its attention on its emerging markets outside of the US.
There are a lot of potential consumers out there who are shopping for a religion. The US market is largely tapped. But there's a lot of world out there yet to market to. Sure there's a need to keep the US base engaged, but its loyalty to the brand is largely assured."More crazy people to Provo go than to any other town in the state."
