You skipped right past the belly to the knee, so I had to help.
You're right, I missed it, but now that I see it, I no longer support the idea.

It's a slow day at work so I'm here picturing some of the ladies in my ward wearing this and it's not a good look. I'm pretty sure they don't look that great in the traditional g's either but this would be like trying to corral a 100 rabbits inside a 10' square post and rail fence, their's just no way to contain everything that was wanting to come out.
It should be all about choices when it comes to G's. If some folks what to go all "throwback uniform" to JS day; let them wear them. And for those that want a more "under armor" look and feel; those should be offered. I think there be strapless G tops offered as well. Let folks choose what works best for them and the outfit they wish to wear.

I can't even begin to speculate why they don't have the top.
There is no need for it as far as I can tell. I guess a few people might want it. But really the compression or spandex top is for use in athletics. I've never seen anyone wearing that type of shirt for casual wear or as an undershirt.
Then again, I'd be less annoyed by people wearing their G's to play basketball if they wore a compression top rather than raggedy old cotton tops.
You guys who aren't taking advantage of the corbin tops are missing out. The sleeves are quite a bit shorter than the crew tops and other scoop necks, which is handy since elbow-length sleeves are dorky. Plus, the sleeves are almost what I would consider fitted, meaning there isn't a bunch of bulky sleeve material bunching up under your t-shirt.
Crew necks should always be worn under a white shirt (dress or T), but other than that, they should pretty much never be worn.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
After having experimented with various materials, I have arrived back at 100% cotton.
I have found the artificial materials to be sticky and irritating. I don't like the way they fit.
When buying clothes, I've always been picky about what things are made of. If it wasn't nearly all natural materials, I eschewed it. However, I violated this rule with garments to see if I could find something better.
One of my gripes with 100% cotton was that they wore out so quickly. I have concluded I don't care.
I don't like the way the blends "ball up". Corbin sticks and feels hot. I could go on.
I have come back to cotton. I can stretch out the bottoms so that they feel like boxers. The tops don't have that artificial feel.
My trip to the distribution center was uneventful. The only gripe I have is that they don't have the 100% cotton in a short bottom. I bought the bottoms a couple sizes too big so that the waist band doesn't annoy me, but to do it, the legs are way too long. I'm hoping they'll shrink up. It's the end of short season anyway.
Dri-Luxe is where it's at for bottoms. You're only punishing yourself with that nasty, uncomfortable waistband on the 100% cotton.

Did the price of Gs go up recently? I went to the 'Hive to by some new threads and was shocked that they were around 3.20 for the tops and basically the same for the bottoms.
I was out the door at almost 60 bucks for underwear. Whoa.
When I arrived home, I checked and sure enough the bags indicated that garments are made in the USA.
Time to outsource garments to be made by members in the Phillipines or Hong Kong or Macau or wherever. It can be a source of income for local members and an opportunity to avoid working in sweatshops for slave labor prices.
I can go to target and buy a 5 pack of hanes white t shirts for around $8. Why does it cost me half of that to buy one t shirt? Makes no sense.
Also, lose the tags. Time to go tag less.
This is another example of a gerontocracy unknowingly making things unnecessarily challenging.
I thought that Gs used to be made in South America. I heard that about the time Gs went from about $ 4 to $ 2 something. Now that they are made in the US again, they must have had to raise the price.
