I still wish I had been able to convice my wife to be sealed in the O-Town temple. I definitely tried.

I hope that means Provo is next, though I'm not sure the church would ever shut it down long enough for that major of remod, considering the effect it would have on the MTC.

God must have revealed that an upgrade to the Ogden temple was urgent. Maybe the Church is looking to sell and wanted to up the curb appeal a bit first?

That's terrible. And I hope they don't do that to the Provo temple. It's ugly but that's not the point. Are they going to start completely redoing temples every 50 years based on the latest styles?

Whatever people think of the look of the Provo-style temples, they represent an interesting investment in architectural design. It would be a loss if the church were to renovate all of them. Hopefully Provo remains untouched.

I have fond memories of both the Provo and Ogden temples as they were fairly new and I made it a point to go through them after I received my endowment at the Salt Lake Temple and before I left on my mission. The spaceship design was unique at the time, but I think the Church wants the temples to reflect regional architecture these days. I think the redesign of the Ogden temple looks nice, but that's just my personal opinion. In terms of architecture, I really like San Diego and Washington DC, but the Nauvoo Temple has to be my favorite.
