Exactly. $7.99 prime rib buffet in the temple cafeteria.

I think a copy of the Salt Lake temple and calling it " The Salt Lake Salt Lake Temple" would fit right in also.

I love the o-town temple. Where I went for baptisms the first time, endowment for me, for my wife. Doesn't make sense to change it, especially with the tabernacle changes as well. Most Ogdenites I know like the temple. Its a unique city with unique challenges and the spaceship, as weird as it sounds fit. The church has a huge monetary investment in downtown Ogden, I assume this is the genesis to the changes....

Not a bad idea. A mini replica of several of the more popular temples. The celestial room would be in the Salt Lake wing of the conglomerate, of course.

I am definitely going to encourage my kids to consider a mission. I had a blast on my mission and loved the experience.

By the time they have reached the age to leave on a mission, they should be aware of the tendency of some to invent FPS. I have a gut feeling that dad is going to clue them in on some of that stuff.

DDD, a kid in my district said he woke up (we slept in the same room) and so white angels fighting black demons right outside our window. I don't doubt his story even though he was from Davis County. He was so shaken by it that our BP came and gave him a blessing. After the blessing he said that he had heard many stories similar to this Elder's and to note the feeling we felt as we left to the airport, assuring us, that we would feel the lack of spiritual protection. I flirted with a fat chick from Vegas on the way to the airport, my wall of protection left when I opened my heart.

Weird I served in the Ogden mission and my mission offices were in the tabernacle.

Every once in a while when I make my way to the inside of a temple, it seems as if there is plenty of gaseous substance in the building.

Is this gaseous matter of which you speak that nasty smelling stuff that emanates from the half-dead, sleeping elderly guys sitting all around me?

Fusnik, do you still live in Ogden?

You know, 7 years later and I still think it was a great idea to go to graduate school and incur that debt.
