Put these in at 1 a.m.. They were done by nine. Put them in the oven, mopping every so often, until 3 p.m. and then pulled. I had several people tell me that it was the best pulled pork they've ever had. It certainly was the best I've ever made. Thanks for the great food threads CUF!

These beasts fed about 50 people. I also filled the smoker with wings and all of those were eaten as well. The party was a huge success.

I think I have probably mentioned before that for the Super Bowl, I always make dishes to represent the teams playing. Today we are going with Cuban sandwiches and burnt ends. I feel a little silly smoking a whole brisket to get some burnt ends, but I am sure I will make good use of the rest of it somehow.

We''re doing something similar, although I hadn't thought about the geographic tie-in. I've got filets (Kansas City Beef!) going in the sous vide, and in a little while I'll have Gulf Shrimp scampi smoking on the Traeger. I couldn't buy less than 2.5 pounds of the shrimp, so we''ll have plenty of leftovers. Need to work out a swap.

Same here. Smoking a whole brisket and pork tenderloin to make burnt ends and brisket and Cuban sandwiches for two adults and four children. I need more friends.

Between the brisket and pork shoulder, I cooked over 20 pounds of meat for a 5 person dinner.

I forgot it was super bowl Sunday until my daughter asked me about it and by then it was already the second half. Turned it on, saw the Chiefs getting blown out, and bailed. For dinner we had chicken tikka masala with homemade garlic naan.
