I love ABT's either way but I love them more with meat in the filling. Chopped brisket, smokies, cut up andouille sausage...YUM!

Here is a link to the rack I saw at Sur la Table

    http://www.surlatable.com/product/PR...44FE3298DFBD0A

Only prob is that the rack might make it tough if the pepper is wrapped in bacon. And a proper ABT HAS to be wrapped in bacon otherwise gtfo.

btw, I highly recommend the pepper corer. that thing is money.
Yeah the bacon is key. I just put mine on the racks in the bradley. They are more of a wire mesh than a grill like the Traeger so it works fine. I'm ordering one of those corer's though. That would have saved me at least 30 minutes today if not more like an hour.

Buy some frogmats for your Traeger. Makes doing things like wings and ABT's much easier on the smoker. I love them.

Good idea. I have something similar for the bradley racks for doing fish but something larger like this would be good.

So prime rib will be served for the third consecutive Super Bowl spread. I aged this roast for 18 days in my refrigerator.

I am a little nervous as I have not aged anything that long in my own home. The color is awesome. I trimmed the dried bark and most of the darker rind(my wife couldn't handle the look ).

I am on call so I was a little nervous about having enough time to do the rub tomorrow, so I did it tonight. Salt, cracked pepper, garlic, and olive oil.

Covered with foil and back into the frig until tomorrow.

I guess my party will not have an amazing queso dip. I hope people still love me.

We have 6 adults to feed.

I'm making two pizzas, dough is rising as we speak.

One will be an Alfredo pizza, one BBQ.

Also frying about 50 wings. Sliced some breast for those that want boneless and to put on top of the BBQ pizza.

Made a sausage dip which is ridiculously good for dipping chips/crackers.

Dessert will be what a restaurant calls a Pizookie. Cookie at the bottom, vanilla icecream on top, unreal.

Wish a couple of you were here.

There is a restaurant in OC that sells pizookies. The restaurant name? BJs.

My favorite is macadamia nut Pizookie, unfortunately Ive never made that type of cookie.

I hope I get it right, bake a cookie for half the time, plop it of a plate and top with ice cream, should be tasty.

They are all good. There is a peanut butter one that is insane. They seem hard to mess up but very easy to enjoy. Sounds really good.

                                Dude that's a great idea.

We have like ten of those in an unopened box that we got from our wedding.

                                Thanks man.
