Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but in my neck of the woods there has popped up the chicken sandwich places that are the sit down/step above fast food type places. They all live in the same new shopping center. I havent been impressed with any of the versions that came about from the fast food chicken wars of last year, so I've been excited to try these.We have eaten at two of them so far, will try the 3rd in the next few weeks.

Super Chix - best French fries of the two we've tried so far. Bun on the chicken sandwich was a bit too fast food style and sweet.

The Crack Shack - better sandwich between the two. Fries were ok.

Dirty Bird - tbd

Super Chic kinda sucks. Like the Crack Shack and they have alcohol so that is a plus

We're in SLC for an extended weekend and our youngest daughter and SIL took us out to celebrate belatedly my 70th. We dined at Table X which was very good with a lengthy and interesting tasting menu. It's the first time I've had a tasting menu with non-alcoholic beverage pairings for each course (and they weren't simply "Seven-up; Coke Zero; Cranberry Fresca, etc...).

I've never tried Cultivate in Draper but it looks promising. Maybe someone on here has a recommendation. I've also never tried The Wild Rose in South Jordan but it looks promising as well.

wild rose is good as is cultivate. cliff dining is another in draper that is solid - adjacent to cultivate.

sauce boss is another fun place - southern/soul food joint that i really enjoyed.
