Of course, the online multiplayer features are free to play. Once you have purchased the game, that is. Free to play refers to the online multiplayer features, not the initial cost of the game.Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

That is MS you are paying, not Activision. I play the PS3 and I pay nothing to play online. I happen to subscribe to PSN plus, but not because I have to to play.Originally posted by Flystripper View Postyeah last I checked I am paying for xbox live...Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. That is a restriction imposed by Microsoft in order to support their network. It is not imposed by Activision. A pay to play from Activision for COD would be above and beyond what XBox Live charges.Originally posted by Flystripper View Postyeah last I checked I am paying for xbox live...Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. I can see you are just trying to push buttons, but have you actually read anything about this in the gaming media coverage? When they mention free to play, they mean the online multiplayer, as opposed to subscription based online play.Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. So a game is free to play, but first I have to pay $65 to play it. And if it is subscription based, it is not free to play?
What are we calling games that are actually free to play. for free? From the start?Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Just a hint here: when you are getting into a battle with DDD, you are going to lose. Doubly so if you are doing it over the financing of the video game industry. FYI.Originally posted by atheistcougar View Post

Those people who want in on x16intheClipx need to pm me for the deets. I suggest that we use some variation of our board name for the clan tag on it (e.g., my clan tag would be [niku]) so we know who is on any give weekend. Goal is to prestige as fast as possible with it.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.
