Can we keep all things Call of Duty in this thread? I like having the running dialog and the being part of the largest thread in the history of CUF!

Since I do Hardcore mosh pit, it depends on the game. I'm using classes that I never used in regular since they didn't help much. For example, I'll use last stand now, since you can kill the other guy pretty easily with a pistol.

For the most part, I'm using scavenger, cold blooded, and ninja. I don't have the ACR quite yet, so I typically use the TAR with holographic since it's pretty good even at long distance as it is basically one shot kill.

I plant claymores like crazy, since they kill more easily. I still do a lot of flanking, and move around a little slower. There's obviously no kill cam, but if your killer isn't obvious, you can still see who did it as they should be in the shot when your person is falling to the ground, just gotta look carefully.

You learn to watch the kill scroll at the bottom left very closely so you know if you killed someone far away. Communication is key too, so you can tell everyone to clear out of the way when dropping a predator strike, or harrier. I really like it and think getting a team together would be a huge advantage, so hopefully some PS3ers make the switch.

I'm at level 45 right now, I think, so hopefully i can go up 25 levels over the next week as I doubt I'll play much MW2 after Black Ops, unless it sucks.

I haven't played much hardcore on MW2 but played quite a bit on COD4. I don't mind it but the part that I can't stand is the camping. Everyone becomes a sniper or find the most concealed location and camp out. No thank you!

Do we want to have one last hurrah this weekend? Last weekend was great - both the gameplay and the smack - and I'd love to do it one last time before black ops comes out. We can all race for nukes again. Or we can see if we can get one of us who hasn't had a nuke before to get one. It's actually not too hard on Terminal with the right (read: cheap) class and spawn. I am happy to share secrets - but be warned that this method is cheap.

I predict you will quickly rise to the top. The major impediments to improvement in this game are lack of time and and lack of practice. Sounds like you'll do great.

Just turned on my ps3 to play a few games and my ps3 has once again started turning itself off at random times. I'll probably fix it again tomorrow, but if my console is going to be this inconsistent I think I'll have to play Black Ops primarily on the 360.

Okay. Here's the easy cheap way mode. Ground war domination on Terminal.

Weapon - your favorite AR with noob tube.

Perks: OMA pro, Danger Close Pro, Ninja Pro.

You can do this from either spawn but it's easier to do it from C so this is where I will tell you how to do it.

Run up the stairs. Go behind flowerbed. Stay behind it just at the top of stairs. Aim noob tube just past the corner where people come from the security lines. Launch noob tubes. Go prone, OMA to the same class, launch more. Rinse. Repeat.

If they stop coming from there, you can do two things. Carefully and quickly launch one down the long hall at A and retreat and reload. Then go back down the stairs and climb up the ladder to the propane tank. From here you can tube A, B and C. A is hard and takes accuracy. Go prone, reload, set claymores at the top of the ladder, tube to shop, rinse repeat. Etc. Good idea to blow the tank up top first.

This is all just precursor to get to seven kills. I don't care how you get there. This is just easy and cheap. And it really helps the next part if you have danger close pro on.

Hide. Call your harriers. If you have B and C, look for the glass skylights above A and place it there (I have got 5 kills from the bombs alone there). If you have only B drop it on the security area. If you have only A, I'm shocked your still alive.

Let your harriers work. Don't venture out.

When you get your AC (don't use chopper gunner), wait until you have B and C. A and B is not as easy but doable.

Now launch the 104 mm gun through the skylight. Switch to the middle gun and repeat for the four-five shots. Switch to the small and repeat. Switch back to 104, which should almost be reloaded and do the same. Take the extra second to make sure you are launching through the skylight. That is their spawn. With danger close pro, you will rack up kills. At least two multikills and many triples and doubles. Remember that anything you launch before the killstreak ends will still hit and get you kills (see, e.g., my nuke last night). If you manage to stay hidden, the nuke is yours.

This is the easiest way to get a nuke I know of. It is also the cheapest. I have two this way, one from either start. I have my noob tube class for this map more than any other.

Edit: Sandy Ravage's Spastex 130 number 2 video has a great example of this at about 5:20. His videos generally are great for learning how to use the AC well. Spawn trapping like this has been the secret of my recent string of nukes.
