The Call of Duty Thread

A good router/internet connection is so crucial I've learned. My skill has declined significantly since moving to SF and into an apartment built during the Taft administration. My KDR has steadily decreased and I feel like I only do well when I'm the host. That's the excuse I'm using at least.

I used to be absolutely just freaking brutal on Half-Life Team Fortress, so I wasn't sure what my deal was; I just chalked it up to getting older or I was thinking that it was the PS3 controller, but now I'm convinced it because I live in the sticks and I had a 6 y/o router. I've been playing my same, no fear game, and owning people. I'm now up 30 games positive, and I was down 40 games negative before I got the router. I even played Team Deathmatch with SanJuanSun on Sunday and we won every game and I could actually do stuff, like 14-5 instead of 4-4.

So, I went 21-0 to start a Domination match on Invasion. It was awesome! luchini and I played a ton tonight. I quit our last game because this guy got a nuke in like 90 seconds, and when he called it in, the countdown was for 15 MINS!!!! The score was frozen, and all he was doing was running up his kills. I think he hacked the game. Hopefully, there will be a fix for this lickety-split.

I'm playing so much better lately. I'm up almost 40 games positive.

I've been trying for nukes lately. Nuke #4 tonight. 40-4 game on Favela - we could have gone longer, but somebody else had an AC up and was probably going to get a nuke too, so I triggered mine earlier than I thought. Super easy one this time - I spawn trapped them over by C in the corner, and my AC made hay.

I've been thinking about it. I checked out the online game and read a few reviews and it seems that the graphics and sound are top notch but the online gameplay has a bit to be desired. If it had come out about 3 months ago I would have been all over it but with one month to go, limited time and resources, I doubt I pull the trigger on it.
