Yeah - that's a good idea that I use sometimes.

Nice nik. How many left the lobby after that game?

Do you have an RPG to go along with it? I am sure people don't like you if you are doing a lot of noob tubing. I can't stand those guys. We played a team the other night that were using one man army and just noob tubed and fired RPG's the entire time. It wasn't even fun.

when i reach 65 on this prestige i will. until then, my noob class looks like:

          m16a4 w/grenade launcher
          thumper
          blast shield
          scavenger pro
          danger close pro
          ninja pro

it seems like the only way i can get kills lately. i played with san juan a bit on sunday, and could not even string together five kills.

Speaking of noob classes, LR/SkinnyT has been telling me that my beloved TAR is a noober's weapon, and that everyone knows that. Is he making this shit up, or is this what everyone thinks?

After trying my hand at sniping, noob tubing and crack-knife-killing, I've come home to the TAR. The TAR is my axe.

that kid makes me laugh so hard. i do see most noob tubers using the tar, but it's not like they're using the bullets. i wouldn't worry too much; the tar is a perfectly respectable gun.

at this point, i would most likely classify myself a sniper (quick scoping is one thing i will still kick the crap out of all y'all doing), but playing once every week or two weeks means that i'm below average at best.

I think the theory behind using the TAR to toob is that it's the one AR that stands a chance at close range when compared with anything else. And that's an important consideration when your second weapon slot is taken by OMA.

I think its only a noob weapon b/c its one of the first respectable guns you get, so noobs glom on to it early. But that doesn't mean its a crap gun.

plus, how could a gun made by the hands of the chosen goi at tavor be anything but remarkably efficient?

This is exactly why I switched to hardcore, much less noob tubing since you can kill your own team. However, I've noticed an increase in noob tubing lately, but still better than normal.

Hardcore makes getting a nuke very tough, although kills come easier, so do deaths, and almost everyone uses cold blooded, so kill streaks are often useless. Plus, if you kill a couple teammates in the chopper gunner (since it's hard to see them), you lose your streak.

I played a game of hardcore last night and found it to be fun but very different. What sorts of strategies do you use? Do you have a favorite gun? I was going silenced acr with cold blooded and ninja.

I've learned how to deal with toobers on ground war, mostly because I've spent some time being one. There are spots to avoid and flanking the toobers before taking a spot on domination is key.

I agree with whoever said the competition is getting worse over the last week. Getting nukes on medium maps with a noob tube, danger close pro and the ac in a ground war domination game while spawn-trapping isn't that hard. Getting them with a rush class in team deathmatch on relatively open maps is another thing entirely. I wasn't even trying to get a nuke last night, but forgot to switch my killstreaks, to my everlasting joy. Nobody has any pride in taking birds out of the sky anymore.

Since I do Hardcore mosh pit, it depends on the game. I'm using classes that I never used in regular since they didn't help much. For example, I'll use last stand now, since you can kill the other guy pretty easily with a pistol.

For the most part, I'm using scavenger, cold blooded, and ninja. I don't have the ACR quite yet, so I typically use the TAR with holographic since it's pretty good even at long distance as it is basically one shot kill.

I plant claymores like crazy, since they kill more easily. I still do a lot of flanking, and move around a little slower. There's obviously no kill cam, but if your killer isn't obvious, you can still see who did it as they should be in the shot when your person is falling to the ground, just gotta look carefully.

You learn to watch the kill scroll at the bottom left very closely so you know if you killed someone far away. Communication is key too, so you can tell everyone to clear out of the way when dropping a predator strike, or harrier. I really like it and think getting a team together would be a huge advantage, so hopefully some PS3ers make the switch.

I'm at level 45 right now, I think, so hopefully i can go up 25 levels over the next week as I doubt I'll play much MW2 after Black Ops, unless it sucks.

I'll play hardcore anytime, as long as my team is using microphones. No communication = bad stuff.
