Wow, not sure how I missed this thread. Here are a few of my favorites.
I made a CD for the car last year, and this was one of the top hits for the kids.

Be warned this one can work it's way into your brain like the "Elmo's World" song.

Not sure why Dean Martin drops into German on occasion in this one, but calling him "Rudy" never fails to crack up my car. When he sings "then one foggy Chrizzmuzzeeve" You can almost smell the Scotch and nicotine.

I'm a sucker for this song. The ending of this version is spectacular.

Bach at his best. I like the organ a lot on this version. She had good footwork.

I've played all of the instruments in this rendition. If I can just get Mariah Carey to join us for Christmas Eve, this is totally doable. Love the kids providing back-up, and Questlove finding new uses for the Afropick.

Sufjan just put out ANOTHER Christmas box set. Some pretty amazing things on there- different, crazy versions of some of the traditional stuff as well as sublime originals.
Has anyone listened to any of the new Xmas stuff? I haven't yet, but on the list is the following:
1. Holidays Rule. This is a compilation that has new stuff by Fun, Paul McCartney, Rufus Wainwright, The Civil Wars, Calexico, The Shins, The Head and the Heart and Andrew Bird.
2. Cee Lo's Magic Moment by CeeLo Green
3. The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection by Taylor Swift
4. Silver & Gold by Sufjan Stevens
And under WTF we have:
This Christmas by Olivia Newton John and John Travolta
EDIT: I see that some of these are mentioned above.

Every time I see this guy I like him more, though I'm not a huge fan of his style of music. He doesn't seem to be a guy who takes himself too seriously at all. Props to Dave Matthews as well.

I saw that CD lying around the house a few days ago. The wife got it at Starbucks apparently.
