Now that was a season finale!

Perhaps I should give this show a try then. I love it when things blow up real good.

CB has it translated as something to the effect of 'he whom we all will serve' or something like that.

And yeah, that was a friggin' sweet piece of TV show. Awesome episode.

                  GREAT finale.

Much like last season, it leaves you with some serious cliff hangers and serious questions, but nothing that will drive me crazy like the Coffin did at the end of season 3.

All in all, a good season.

                    A couple of questions.

What is the deal with Richard? Are we ever going to find out his story?

Any thoughts on the two Lockes? Looking back, it seems like Locke #2 was Jacobs "friend" from the beach scene who said that he wanted to kill him. How did he become a look-a-like?

Why did Jacob's friend need a loophole to kill him? Because if we are going to get technical, Ben only stabbed him, Locke was the one who ultimately shoved him in the fire and apparently killed him.

My guess is that the second Locke is the smoke monster.

Locke is dead. The look-a-like is the same dude that takes on appearances/essences of the dead on the island (boone, Christian, claire, ben's daughter). The loophole I think is that the "leader" of the island has to kill Jacob.

Also, the nuke flashed everyone back to the future.

                          Also Walt and Yemi.

It's the smoke monster (or Cerebrus, I think?) Odd that Jacob and Cerebrus have been on different sides this whole time. I always assumed that since they were both associated with the Others that they were on the same team.

The loophole I think is that the "leader" of the island has to kill Jacob.
I don't think so... because if he's merely impersonating Locke, does that count? And if so, he couldn't have managed to impersonate Widmore or Hawking or any of the other leaders before now?

I think the loophole is that a mortal has to kill Jacob while being at least somewhat aware of who he is. That's a tougher job, IMO.

When Sun, Lapitus and Locke first go looking for their people, don't they all run into Christian? That would mean that this person/thing or whatever it is is taking two forms would it not?

Maybe more than "back" to the future... In the scenes where Jacob visits Kate and Sawyer as kids, and also in Juliet’s scene with her parents, the settings (mainly just looking at their clothing) did not appear to be 1970s-ish (I want to go back and look closer at what was on Kate's lunch box). Also, during one of the commercial breaks ABC promoted a new show called “Flash Forward” and the actress who plays Penny is an actress in that new show.

I doubt the nuke could make Flight 815 not crash because haven’t they said several times that they can’t change things?
