It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

I saw Super 8 tonight. Abrams was trying to channel the 80s kid buddy movies (Goonies ET and Stand By Me). He did a good job, it was entertaining.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”Comment

I was bored. It seemed like the writer had two movies in mind and couldn't decide which one was more important, so neither story got told very well. Saw "X-Men First Class" last night. It was well done and fun to watch. Marvel is turning out some pretty good comic book movies this year. Decent acting, good (fantasy) plot, and like any good prequel it does a nice job of laying the groundwork for the later movies.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”
