  • I watched "I'm Still Here" on Netflix yesterday. What a tremendous waste of my life, at least I got most of the clothes folded.

Having read a decent amount about the "hoax" I assumed it would at least be entertaining. Instead I came to believe that it was called a hoax because of how awful the whole thing was. Much like I used to feel on CB when someone would say something really awful then when called out on it would say "I was trolling!"

Terrible. But, the movie brought up a good question, how hot is Julianne Moore? Damn. During the movie I told my wife "she is so hot." My wife disagreed. She said Moore could be pretty, or good-looking, or whatever, but that she was too old to be hot. Made me laugh.

      • Saw I Love You Phillip Morris on Thursday. Ewen McGregor and Jim Carrey are both great in it and I laughed out loud quite a bit. It's a fascinating true story about a con artist/prison escapee and how his love for a fellow inmate kept getting him in more and more trouble.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

Her Boston accent on "30 Rock" was over-the-top (for comedic effect, I presume). But yeah, she's pretty hot in "The Kids Are All Right", even if she was lezzing it up.

Used to be hot. Not anymore. If I have to see her saggy boobs again, I'm poking my eyes out. Is there something in her contract that says every movie she does must have nudity?

We talked about this as well. Moore pretty much shows her rack in every movie these days.

                  • Black Swan. Mila Kunis is a very attractive lady. I would happily do very naughty things to her if I wasn't married. I assume she would date me since she dated Macauley Culkin. Her standards are extremely low.

Interesting film. Kind of reminded me of "American Beauty" (if I'm remembering it correctly). Colin Firth's got mad skills, that's for sure.

                        • The Magnificent Seven. Yul Brynner as a badass cowboy. It just doesn't get better than that.

My understanding is that it's a remake of The Seven Samurai.

If all remakes started with a pitch that went something like "Hey, let's remake this classic flick and add Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson and a kick-ass musical score," I'd have a much more favorable attitude toward remakes in general.

                            • We saw "The King's Speech" yesterday. It lives up to all the hype. I was especially charmed by the way the friendship developed beween the two main characters at the same time they were developing as characters. Really a masterful picture.
