  • Saw Dunkirk last night. It was intense. I'm not sure I loved how the story was told, and my ears hurt after it was over, but I think I felt the intended emotions.

I also saw the Big Sick. It was funny. Romano and Hunter saved it from being really mediocre.

Dude, you need to get a little more assertive in that marriage.

I'm getting soft in my old age and she seems to be getting tougher. Not sure how to stem the tide at this point.

It's OK, SMR. I want to see it again. I'll go with you.

Do you have a real IMAX nearby?

No. Nearest one is in Vegas but that trip would require gambling and debauchery so I'm out.

Too bad. Perhaps when HFNW is done with his temple session and debauchery in Las Vegas he will invite you to see it on a real IMAX. I think there's one in Portland.

I feel like I want to see it on the biggest screen in the USA, if PAC saw it on the 2nd biggest, or at least a top 10.

                            • Saw Valerian which although not fantastic was better than expected. The most difficult part were the two lead characters trying to be grisled veterans, despite looking as if they were just out of high school. Lots of special effects and an Ender's Game motif thrown in. Yet it possesses a bit of charm. If you enjoy science fiction, go see it, but you just tolerate the genre, probably a skip it.
