I watched "Mistaken for Strangers," which is a documentary about The National that turns out not be a documentary about The National at all. It's really this meta thing that's sort of more about making a documentary and the struggle of the younger Berninger brother to achieve something relative to his more famous older brother. I really enjoyed it.

Saw this last night with my wife and daughter, and really enjoyed it. I think the script is good and the story is well-told. Like all movies it requires some suspension of disbelief, but it was kind of like "Gravity" --- mainly a fun ride. I was engaged throughout the movie. I'm a little surprised it hasn't done better, but not everyone likes a sports movie. It will do well in the online/DVD market.Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostWent to "Draft Day" yesterday. I also think a lot of people are disenchanted with Kevin Costner. The reason I haven't had any interest in seeing it is that I dislike most if what he has done recently. Is he good in the role?Originally posted by LA Ute View PostSaw this last night with my wife and daughter, and really enjoyed it. I think the script is good and the story is well-told. Also, I'm not sure how I am supposed to get excited about a movie about the behind-the-scenes process of the Brown's draft day, a franchise that hasn't done anything remarkable on the field for as long as I have been following the NFL. Are we supposed to suspend belief enough to accept that made an amazing, franchise-changing draft pick?

I think that has to with the fact that Costner is a terrible actor.Originally posted by UVACoug View PostI also think a lot of people are disenchanted with Kevin Costner. The reason I haven't had any interest in seeing it is that I dislike most if what he has done recently. Is he good in the role?
