  • I expected 3-4 episodes of (svelter) Hank trying to corner an unsuspecting Hal Walt. I was surprised and glad to know that isn't going to happen. At every turn, Walt/Heisenberg has always been the smartest guy in the room (often his ego/intellect has been led to many of his problems). To have him all of a sudden be the unsuspecting mouse, to Hank's cat, is not nearly as interesting as the possible Spy vs. Spy scenarios, this may lead to.

I also don't see any plausible scenario (especially in an abbreviated half-season) where Walt murders Skyler or his family. She/they could become victims to Heisenberg's enemies (thus the long look at the graffiti), but Mr. White committing uxoricide (I had to look this one up) or filicide (somehow I knew this one) seems too far to go in just a few weeks. Poisoning Hank, or even Jesse, would not shock me.

Edit: I just read MG's post. That is most plausible scenario, I've heard, so far.

    • I've said this before, but I think we got a big hint a while back about the fates of all our BB friends. I learned early on to pay attention to what's on screen when characters are watching television. I can't remember what season it was, but we saw Walt sit down with Junior to watch Scarface (Gilligan often refers to WW's as a Scarface story). It was quiet, but in the background you could hear Walter say "this is a great movie son, except in the end, everyone dies." I'll be surprised if anyone besides Saul gets out alive. And Saul just because he's getting a spin off.

My old man loved the show and stopped watching after that moment. Said he couldn't do it anymore. Cranston also said he broke down in tears after shooting the scene.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Are they/will they be under some threat of some sort? Hard to say.
The cancer isn't necessarily gone. He could have just stopped treatment. It is the Chemo that makes him lose the hair, not the cancer.

I rewatched season 5a over the past couple of days and have looked for little eggs.

Remember when they serve Mike the search warrant and Hank searches the house?

The show Mike is watching says something about wanting a report when a cop kills himself, Hank seems to notice this line of the show Mike is watching.

I haven't done much searching of the Internet about the show because I've enjoyed coming up with my own theories.

It's been fun to come up with my own BS, figured ill rewatch the series a second time and have fun finding all the little eggs.

            • Just watched the last scene again.

Best course of action is to tread lightly. omg what an amazing line.

              Favorites WW lines:
              1. "Say my name." "You're GD right."
              2. "tread lightly"
              3. to Skylar: "I forgive you"
              4. "i am the danger"

That just seems like a horrible way to kill yourself. Why would you want to do it slowly and painfully? Is he trying to punish himself or something?

I can totally see him kill Skyler, and honestly would not be surprised to see him take out his children now at this point. It seems like wishful thinking, but my hope is he rots out his life in prison. That would be an appropriate ending to Walt, in my opinion. Completely forgotten in the federal penitentiary. Giving him any kind of glorious ending would just be wrong.

                  Those are great, agreed.

I liked when WW said: "Sitting around, smoking marijuana, eating Cheetos and masturbating do not constitute ‘plans.’"

                    • I don't think it's past him to kill Skyler.

                      I don't think he'd kill his kids.

For the first time? I'm jealous. You have such an awesome ride ahead of you.

I saw that episode again too and caught the same thing. I could definitely see Hank doing that because he's so wrapped up with Walter, there's really no way to bust him without looking like he was in on it. I could see this causing him to exit Javert style.

Ricin is a way to kill someone without being detected. He could be trying to kill Hank or Skyler. Walt Jr has been out of the loop so I don't see why Walt would kill him
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                              • Another nice touch from last night's episode: As Hank walks stunned from the bathroom back out to the party on the patio we hear nothing but intense music and something akin to his heart beat. He looks at Walt through the slider, Walt is smiling and holding a baby, we can see they're all talking but we can't hear them. Hank then opens the door and the first audible line of dialog is Marie saying to Walter "you are the devil." A confirmation of everything he's been thinking for the past few minutes. Fantastic stuff.
