I think that final scene might be the best acting I've ever seen on television. Hank's eyes carried such depth in that scene, and the way Walt's voice drops between "would be" and "to tread lightly" made me sit up straight. This show is gaining on The Wire for my favorite show of all time.

Walt folding the towel like Gus
Walt hitting up the cops on his way into Hanks house
Tracking device
Walls old Volvo like Gus Volvo

Such a nice payoff for the fans.

I loved Walts pleading with Jesse to believe him about Mike. We know that if Jesse doesn't believe Walt, Walt may have to kill him, loved that scene.

Wonder what the significance of the yellow lambo and kid playing in the front of Hanks house will be.

Geez this show is well written, acted, directed, filmed, everything. There's not a weak character on here. I used to hate Skyler but even she's become interesting. This show is damn near perfect.

Is Walt the only person who knows he actually killed Mike? (My memory isn't good enough to remember all that happened back in that episode). What did he do with Mike's body? It seemed obvious to me that Jesse both knows Mike is dead and that Walt was responsible.

The kid that took over Jesse's job (the one that shot the kid on the bike) helped him clean up the mess and get rid of the body. He knows.

I'm loving this show so much. Anyone watch the Talking Bad show with the producer Gilligan. The woman from Modern Family was hilarious. Producer made another comparison to Scarface when they brought up the flash forward scene with the big gun in the trunk. My prediction is that Skylar leaves him for good and takes the kids. Walt flees to avoid being arrested. In the final episode he storms the building Hank works at and has a Scarface style shootout. The ricin is for himself to swallow to commit suicide in case he isn't killed in the shootout.

Also Gilligan gave a teaser for next episode. He said it would involve the people running Walt's former operation for Lydia that was running at 68% quality. But it didn't sound like it would be in the context of training or helping him. Gilligan called them "loose ends".

Great post Fus. I have always loved that everything in this show means something. Folding the towel was such a good touch.

That was incredible. As good as television gets. Normally on Sunday night I would watch Dexter too, but last night I had no desire. I knew it would suck so bad in comparison that it just wasn't worth watching.

The Denny's scene was one year ahead of where season 5 started. Does being midway through the season put us six months into the timeline? So we've got another six months until the Denny's scene? If the first scene from last night is closely connected to the Denny's scene (which seems to be the case, since Walt looks the same and is carrying the gun in the trunk), that looks like a lot more than six months from now. That house was seriously overrun.
