I'm with your daughter. I detested (still do, actually) the Primary song, "Saturday is a special day, it's the day we get ready for Sunday", in which one sings the various chores one does to get ready for church. Man, I hated singing that.
Saturday is a day for ballgames, bike rides, movies, playing with kids and friends, etc., since the next day is going to be, well, not as fun.
The problem is that I work 12-14 hours a day and I need time on Saturday to get everything done that I neglected during the week, like posting here.

You know how sometimes your tv image will shake, fade in and out, and maybe for a second or two turn to snow until the signal comes back again? When that happens and it lasts a little longer than you expect, do you wonder if maybe the aliens have taken control and are about to make some sort of announcement?

Are you still watching analog TV? With a HDTV (digital) signal one usually just loses the picture all together because of the error detection/correction. If you are still watching analog TV you deserve to have aliens take over your TV.

That's never occurred to me but now you've got me spooked.

This is not a very random thought.
Ys, I watch digital. Fr some reason a certain range of our HD channels have a weaker signal strength (or so I've been told) and the image will some times disappear and sometimes we get static.
Wishing aliens on someone for something as simple as analog signals is kind of mean.

Is wishing aliens on someone's TV the same as wishing aliens on someone?
I've seen several Kia Optimas on the road lately and think they are quite attractive.
It's a Kia.
It's a good looking car, though...
Am I crazy?

It's basically a Hyundai Sonata with different styling. That isn't a knock, i think the Sonata is a pretty good looking car too. And Hyundai has been on the rise lately with quality and reliability.
But i get why you'd question your sanity for liking them. I still have a hard time getting over the past of both the Kia and Hyundai names.
