  • Is the a law irrevokably decreed in heaven that when you have finished digging out your drive way, the snow plow comes along and buries it again?

It happend to me twice this last storm

Also I am rethinking my policy on a snowblower. I haven't seen the need to spend $$$ on something I would use twice a year (maybe). My back is killing me

The jetted tub we put in last summer is getting used A LOT

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

        • I didnt realize that the staten island ferry was accompanied by two small coast guard boats, one on each side of the ferry as it sails, each with a deck mounted machine gun and a crewman manning it.

Beware the paradox of the snowblower. You buy it as a labor-saving device and then feel so guilty about having one while your neighbors don't, that you end up doing the entire neighborhood and all the sidewalks yourself. Thus working harder than you would have otherwise.

              That's interesting.

An 86,000 ton cruise ship only gets one coast guard boat while coming into or leaving a US port.

Feds stumbling after Anonymous launches 'Operation Last Resort'

The U.S. Department of Justice still has egg on its face after hacktivist group Anonymous launched 'Operation Last Resort' commandeering Federal websites, threatening to release government information, and demanding legal reform.

                    [...]

The feds wrestled all weekend with Anonymous to try and regain control of the website.

Anonymous had the last laugh Sunday afternoon as they whimsically transformed the .gov site into an interactive video game of "Asteroids."

Whether you e-file or not, your records will wind up in the same gov't database(s).

In my experience, it's not true. The retired neighbor of mine will clear his drive and walk with his snow blower and then go back into his house without even thinking of asking my teenage sons who have shovels if they'd like a bit of help with our drive.

How is that possible? I say it is not.

                              How exactly does that work?
