                                                Back on the Birdie Train after a couple days off.

                                                With Scordle to provide game film, my personal challenge is as much about besting the Scordle recommended path after word 1 as it is about getting birdie.

                                                For example, after my starting word LEARN, there were 527 possibilities. Scordle recommended BONUS as the best guess for word 2, which would have left 34 possible guesses. By guessing STONY, I was left with 15 possible guesses. As best I can tell, Scordle's algorithm is programmed to recommend whatever word will ensure narrowing the possible answers to "1" as quickly as possible, not to eliminate the most possibilities with each answer.

                                                So there's your dose of Wordle over-analysis for the day. Also, DONUT was a possibility for my 3rd guess. As tempting as it was, I held off.
