    Here's one:

    http://www.sporcle.com/games/vikZ/mine-mine-mine-mine

It took me a few tries but can definitely be completed without guessing.

I had to keep pausing this one to sort through my notes, but I finished without any guessing:

Resurrecting this thread because I can’t find another suitable one…

anyone on the Wordle bandwagon? 60% of the NWC family is. It’s fun to have the interaction with kids far away. I’ve yet to been able to brag that I got the daily word faster than anyone, but a couple of times I’ve done it in 3 tries.

I don't want to brag but 100% solve rate with 50% in 3 guesses and 75% in 3 or 4.

Noice. I haven’t been following my stats. Is there an app that compiles them? I’ve just been getting it from safari.

                edit:
nvm. I see the stats when I solve the puzzle. I haven’t been paying attention to it: I just quickly hit share.

my stats are far less glamorous. 21% in three tries.

They come up automatically when I finish. You can also click on the little graph on top. I added it to my home screen which shouldn't make a difference I think.

Do you start with the same word or change it up? I’m pretty standard: either ‘tears’ or a version of that. I saw someone starts with ‘ouija’ because it gets a lot of vowels out of the way. I haven’t been brave enough to try that…

I generally start with the same two words (I may switch around #2 depending on what happens with #1). Between the two, A, E, I and O are covered, and they consonants are all among the most popular.

That is all I am comfortable disclosing at this point, until I write my book.

Did it for the first time today. Got it in 4 tries.

                        Still working on my technique.

Me, too, except for the working on the technique part. The game reminds me of MasterMind which my wife and I played a lot back in the 70s.

Having played only once, I don't know much about the game. If the word o' the day has the same letter twice (e.g., "color"), does it tell you, or will you have to figure that out yourself? That could make for an especially difficult word, I'd guess.
