Jimmy Kimmel sometimes shows these clips from the local news in LA reporting on the weather. It's kind of funny.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”Comment

School has been cancelled all week. Since I'm working from home it's been nice to have the kids around...until today when my beehive-age daughter invited her whole Beehive class over to the house. Is there anything worse or more annoying than having a bunch of 12-13 year old girls at your house? The cackling, the giggling, the crying, the drama....ugh
