That blew in fast. I went to work yesterday and it was looking very nice but by 5pm it was blowing and snowing by 6pm.

      • it was really windy here in Northern Utah yesterday evening. Not sure how it compared to Wyoming but fwiw i saw a trampoline that had blown over a wall and onto the adjacent main road.

My recollection of country not far from Cowboy's range.

It may be warmer in Antarctica.

It's also a matter of perspective. Traveling east from Utah, Wyoming is not all that impressive in comparison. Traveling west from Nebraska, Wyoming can seem spectacular.

                      • Four of us went out and played in Farmington at 1:30. Needless to say we had the course all to ourselves. Temperature 75 and a howling wind.

First hole is a par 5 around 510 yards. I hit driver 7 iron. One guy hit driver pitching wedge and flew the green. Third hole into the wind about 360. I hit a high fade that about hit on number 2 that is 70 yards in front of the tee on 3 and 70 yards to the right.

We actually were having some good laugh's until we made the turn. The temp. had to drop at least 20 degree's and wind still howling. Seventeen tee and the big heavy rain drops starting coming down. We finished and the back 9 was not fun. I shot 56/54 and that was not taking anything over a triple bogey.

                        • I find it highly ironic (Triplet please advise if the correct usage) that old_greggorio is always making fun of places like Wyoming and Boise yet lauding Davis County.

                              • Snowing with sustained winds at 40+ and gusts up to 54 MPH this morning. I was going to sort calves this morning, but it might be a good day to work in the shop.
