I've been playing this a lot and I just got my highest score-- 47,177. I've noticed a few things in playing-- they do love to use the same cities over and over. I think I have been getting ever so slightly better at pinning down a year or decade based on the cars on the road, depending on if it's in the US or Europe....

44001 today.
How come they are wearing such warm coats in Barcelona? I figured it was somewhere in Scandinavia with those coats. Also, thought it was NY and not Chicago for the Astronaut parade. Otherwise, got the rest of the locations and was within 4 years of all my guesses.

Yeah, I knew I didn't recognize it from England. I picked a spot on the west end of Germany to try to get as close as I could to somewhere in Europe.Originally posted by SteelBlue View PostDid well overall but the Barcelona pic got me. I've never been and didn't recognize the church. Thought the sweatshirt may have said University of Kent. 40 something.
Senegal got me. I picked Congo.

I'm embarrassed because as soon as the ticker-tape picture came up I thought "Those are Chicago police uniforms", but, despite growing up in Chicagoland, I convinced myself it was NYC (I wasn't aware of any ticker tape parades in Chicago).
Am I the only idiot who thought D-Day was Dunkirk?
So not terrible at 38,463, but should have easily been over 40K

Got the street in Paris, Chicago, and Senegal right. But the Senegal pic threw me off. It looked like a very recent picture, so I guessed last year. I guessed wrong.
I picked a random French coast near the English Channel, west of Dunkirk but East of the right location.
I didn't realize Apollo 13 was 1970. I reasoned that the first moon landing was in 69 so maybe that was the first Apollo mission? And then a couple for each year after that, give or take. 41,204. Got the Paris location within 5 meters and within a km for both Senegal and Chicago. Didn't recognize Sagrada Familia, and guessed England instead. Messed up the year badly for the Paris one. I also thought it was Dunkirk, Clark.

this one was easy today. 46,958. the first one looked like wwi, but based on the tank in the background thought it had to be a wwii amphibious landing (and guessed d-day from there). got the senegal one from the newspapers and figured it had to be dakar. year was tough on la sagrada familia, but guessed it was recent based on picture quality. there was a sign for montmartre in the france one.Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est.

38,553, including a ZERO for the year on the Chicago one. I saw the sign on the side that says "Chicago welcomes Apollo ___" but somehow didn't put it together with the Apollo program. I thought it was a WW2 parade so I guessed 1945.
I guess I should have looked at the cars a little closer.
