37582. I was thinking either Finland or Iceland on the third pic. Guessed wrong. Still struggling wildly with the dates. But happy to get really close on some of the locations. There should probably be a time limit on how long you zoom around on the map.
Got crushed today. Thrown off by the yellow and blue in the Iceland pic and went Sweden, and still I can't believe that was the 70s in in the Finland pic. Almost every man had a hat! That screams 40s/50s.

Some of the hairdos and glasses made me think 60's. Wasn't it 1970? I still got hammered by picking early 60's.
Did terrible today, 29,142. Thought I was clever with the Jackie O pic, thinking she was visiting Greece after the JFK assassination. But I was five years off and a few hundred kilometers away. I got India right but was 17 years off (all those horses, in 1911?!?). And I was ready to end on a high note when I recognized Prince Andrew. Had to be London, right? But I didn't see the 'Helsinki' sign in the distance
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Overthought the Helsinki picture because I saw the Stock____ Ford sign in the bottom right, so I hedged my bet and picked a spot halfway between Stockholm and Helsinki. Biggest distance fail was that I put Kuala Lumpor instead of Mumbai because of the hills in the back of the bay. All over the place on time.

Was thinking the same thing, but went with Helsinki.

I thought Mumbai was in New York and the Indian soldiers were indian soldiers.
Also, it can be so hard to tell from these photos and clothing styles what time period it is. I thought the Whittlesey one was 2014, when it was 2024!
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

The Gateway of India intrigued me, so I looked it up (after the fact, Dude!) It was built to commemorate King George V for his coronation as King of India. But I read that the foundation stone was laid in 1913 and construction was completed in 1924. Wait, the picture was taken in 1911. The structure King George V walked through was constructed from cardboard.
