I've lived the vast majority of my life outside of Utah. I have lived in Utah for high school and college, only.

Is utah the only place where people buy glocks? In fact, never heard of a glock until I moved to Missouri.

Lots of Glocks in Utah. Also, according to my bro-in-law who is with the SL County Sheriff Dept., Glock is the most issued of the various manufacturers to law officers throughout the country.

I've never owned a gun and have pulled a trigger maybe 5 times total. Maybe it is time for a change...

If it's what you want to do, do it. Be sure to take some courses in order to learn how to handle the weapon properly to maximize safety.

Shooting can be a lot of fun, especially when you know what you're doing with the gun. In the hands of someone who understands just how powerful a tool it can be, it's very safe. But the most dangerous person with a gun is one that doesn't respect the weapon. Most of the massacres that happen are done by people with no respect for what a gun can be used to do.

I honestly believe that if folks learn how to safely handle a gun in order to see what its capabilities are, they learn that guns really aren't as frightening as some would have us believe.

Maybe I missed some part of the conversation - but did you really just ask if Utah is the only place people buy Glocks, followed by the fact that you had never heard of Glock until moving to Missouri?

                                Front brakes. Bill - $570.

I could have done them for $150 myself, but I didn't want to hurt my back and get my hands dirty. I hate getting ripped off.
