Best iPhone/iPod Apps

I'm trying to post a photo of one in my hand so you can get an idea of its size. I don't think it's clunky, but that's a personal taste thing. I'm happy to trade a little clunkiness for being able to flick a tiny switch and watch my battery indicator go from 20% to 75%.

Well, I was very happy with it up until a few minutes ago when I learned that it might not be cool.

I like the fact that it fits very tightly over the iPad. Not too much extra bulk. Leather seems to be decent quality.

Because I'm impatient. Also, there's the chance that if I let a major holiday or birthday slip by without a present, my wife will try to convince me to wait until the next major holiday or birthday.

Cover Looks a little bulbous. How does that translate into thickness? I think I need to see this one in person, which is a good sign for leather, but don't get your hopes up!

I like the leather cover. The magnetic covers are a w.a.s.t.e. imo. They were novel at launch of iPad 2 but they offer zero coverage for the back of the device. I don't like that.

A guy at my office has a custom made wooden cover for his. It looks ridiculous.

Not only no back protection but they don't stay attached at all.

Here are the real factors:

1. the Prime wasn't available yet. I wanted to try one in a store before I bought and it wasn't released before the "deadline" I had set to buy.
2. the iPad was more expensive for less hardware, even when buying a refurb'd one, but hey, they were in stock (so, in reality, my wife's frugality tips in favor of the Prime).
3. the iPad has the BYUtv app. I don't think android does.
4. I'm impatient.

That's about it. For the vast majority of what I want to do with a tablet, android has it covered, and with better specs that cost less. Less tablet-specific apps on android, but the only one that I really cared about was BYUtv. Everything else I wanted is there.

Good point. Why buy a device that only offers a limited amount of apps when you can get a device that has a vastly superior selection of apps?

In terms of phone apps, I don't think this point is accurate. In terms of tablet apps, it probably still is.
