This applies to both iPhones and iPads. It's from a blog called iPhone J.D. and will be interesting to the lawyers here (and probably others):

One thing that the new iOS5 fixed that I love. Scrolling.Originally posted by ERCougar View PostiPad question...(couldn't find a more appropriate to put this in...sorry)
How do you navigate in a window within a window? For example, if you reply to a long post here (longer than the window that pops up) but want to delete parts of it, how do you scroll that window up and down? Does that question make any sense?A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life. - Mohammad Ali

So that's what happened! I noticed I could now do that but didn't put 2+2 together to figure out why. Cool.Originally posted by CJF View PostOne thing that the new iOS5 fixed that I love. Scrolling.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

You couldn't do it, in a window within a window - as in when you're responding to a post here by quoting it. There was a workaround but it was a pain.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postwhat was the issue with scrolling prior to iOS5?“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

Just one example of much more intuitive uses.Originally posted by CJF View PostRight. It is much easier now. A nice fix.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

It's true, I did not know. There! I've humiliated myself. Are you happy now?Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostSo you didn't know, either?

(How is someone supposed to know such a thing, anyway? This is the problem with so many devices - little tricks that are not intuitive.
)

So are the current multi finger options in iOS5 intuitive or are you going to wait until they trim them all down to one finger?
I would love to hear what your workaround was for scrolling window within window.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.
