The HP 41CX calculator app is awesome. Perfect replica of the best calculator ever made.

I have a Sprint 4S also, but I don't have the same battery issues. The battery life is not as good as the regular 4 that my wife has, but I do get about 8 hours of normal use. Not great.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostSounds like it is only affecting a subset of the iOS 5 users for some reason. More evidence that it is a software bug.
I hate that since upgrading to iOS5 that both my phone and iPad do not save passwords for websites. I get the taptalk question everyday here and the makes me log in again. Other sites I have to log in each time. It is annoying.A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life. - Mohammad Ali

I've noticed a decrease in battery life with the 4S when the Camera app is open or even when it's in the background. I just have to close it and I easily get through a full day of normal usage with 40% battery left.
Of course I'm not constantly on my phone. I spend about 1 hour a day on it while commuting, 1 hour at work tethering to my iPad, and 1 hour at home surfing from the couch/bed. I also use my phone for all calls as we dropped our landline."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. Yes, shutting down apps is a big contributor to longer battery life, especially ones that are reaching out on wifi/3G and transmitting.Originally posted by Moliere View PostI've noticed a decrease in battery life with the 4S when the Camera app is open or even when it's in the background. So today my battery is still near 100%. Go figure."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

It looks like the battery drain might be caused by a time zone app in iOS 5. Try disabling the app to see if it lasts longer.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostSounds like it is only affecting a subset of the iOS 5 users for some reason. More evidence that it is a software bug.

Same could be said of anyone who ever bought a blackberry. But I wouldn't say a blackberry was a poor purchase 2 years ago.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostSo the droid was not the right choice after all?
