I have heard that Samsung is working on an eye/iris scanner for their phones. Of course, that doesn't seem like it would be as easy to use."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

I also don't have to put in a lock code. The LG G3 tap unlock pattern is actually an awesome add-on with the UI overlay.Originally posted by Moliere View PostThe fingerprint scanner was huge for me. I hate typing in a passcode every single time I wanted to use the phone. Now I just have to leave my thumb on the button for an extra split second and no code is even necessary. It is totally cool. I use my phone for work email so I'm required to have a lock code. The button allows me to unlock my phone without and adjustment, tapping or whatever. The tap unlock pattern is just a better way to do something that I don't even have to do on an iPhone.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostI also don't have to put in a lock code. The day Apple puts out a phone that has a battery that will last 18+hours, I will consider changing. I had a RAZR max, now have a Galaxy 5. The RAZR had the best battery that i have ever had in a phone. It would consistently last up to 36 hours. I still have it as a back up. Even at 3 years old, the battery stays charged about 18 hours.Originally posted by Pelado View PostWhat do you use?"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

I have the SIII and it has been fine. I am lazy like MG and haven't bothered switching from Samsung (Started with the original Galaxy, SII, now the SIII and probably an S5 soon) is that I don't want to learn a new phone. It really is that simple for me. I don't use even 1/3rd of my phones capabilities as is.*Banned*

I've been very pleased with my 5S battery. I browse quite a bit on it both at work and at home (maybe 2-4 hours) and I play maybe 30 mins a day of Candy Crush. I usually have over 50% left at the end of the day. The only time it drained quickly was when I was in a conference room that had intermittent signal and the phone seemed to constantly be looking for a signal. The battery was low by about 3pm....otherwise I have no complaints about the battery."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. I think he is referring to what the phone actually gets in battery life, not based on what Apple claims the phone gets. To be fair, all phone manufacturers claims regarding battery life are bullshit.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post

LOL! Motorola did that first.Originally posted by Moliere View PostThe fingerprint scanner was huge for me. I hate typing in a passcode every single time I wanted to use the phone. I only know, because I had the atrix with the scanner in 2011. It was cool. the fingerprint scanner was a scanner and screen lock button in one, and was on the top back of the phone. I liked the feel of that phone, but when I went back to it after breaking my LCD of my current phone, it is noticeably slower. I could live with that, but the touch screen was going out too. Maybe I will go back to iphone when my contract is up, but most likely I will wait until the day I decide to switch, look up which phones are the most popular (eg, no fatal flaws) and make an impulse decision like I always do.
