If the first one is what you're referring to, I take it to read that he was banned because he was banned on other boards. Is that your understanding of why Moose was banned here?

Moose continually comes back because he has been summarily banned from every board he has participated. He isn't interested in the community at all. He is trying to find a place that he can shit on over and over and over.

I guess I assumed that there were a few decision makers, but the fact that you all have (a) a name, (b) an acronym that abbreviates your name, and (c) more than one of you has said, "why do feel entitled to know?" has a strange, un-CUF vibe to it.

I don't think falafel is being unreasonable at all here. He wants to know--so do I--why Moose's Whistle was banned here, which isn't an obvious reason like other CUF accounts that have been banned. Based on the responses so far it seems the reason was behavior on other boards, which if true leaves some folks scratching their heads. Evidently Moose shit on CUF with his original account in a cryptic manner that only the EC was able to decipher.

Then you read it wrong. JIC also said Moose didn't want any part of this community. That is my understanding of why Moose was banned. And why he is still banned.

But if it were any other reason you said you'd be fine with it, so why are you persisting with this discussion? I take it that you actually aren't fine with any of the reasons for his banishment that you said you would be. Is my understanding of that correct here?

Click the forum leaders link at the bottom of the main page, and it will show you all the members of all the cabals in CUFdom. The EC has never hidden their presence. In fact, I would call it common knowledge.

As to their decisions on who to ban, this is Lebowski's board that he lets us use free of charge.

With that said, the original spirit of this place was about a fresh start. Apparently, Moose is a big enough asshole to not be accorded that same courtesy. Face it, the guy is really not very nice, or funny, or witty, or clever. Falafel is merely asking why, not because it's Moose, but because he wants to know why it is that actions done elsewhere, much like BYU giving me crap about having a beard when I was at home for Christmas, impact his presence on the board.

While I think it's a legitimate question, the powers that be have decided that it's not, and the cool kids have become their Salacious B. Crumbs, attacking falafel's impertinence.

UtahDan did answer about what happened since the ban, but I think falafel's not comfortable with someone getting banned and not knowing why. It's that same feeling you get when someone gets fired at work and you want to know why, even though you can't stand the asshole.
