I am not sure those links support the claim that he was originally elected largely on a claim of term limits. It clearly doesn't matter, as he did urge term limits in later elections, but I actually worked as a researcher on his original campaign and just don't recall term limits as we now know them (other than claiming Frank Moss had been in too long) being a feature of his campaign.
