                        I am not sure those links support the claim that he was originally elected largely on a claim of term limits. It clearly doesn't matter, as he did urge term limits in later elections, but I actually worked as a researcher on his original campaign and just don't recall term limits as we now know them (other than claiming Frank Moss had been in too long) being a feature of his campaign. No matter; I realize it isnt germane or important

                              MBN can correct me, but I am pretty sure a big part of what those folks do is facilitate business between the two countries. So what he saves in salaries he will more than lose in lost revenue to the US.

                                Trump thinks those guys are just fired now by the Department of State? Did he fire them- why would they be off the "payroll?" Or was this his attempt at a tongue-in-cheek remark? I know he wouldn't get sassy with the President.
