The BYU tv stations are run by a private entity. If it had to count on the incompetence of federal government deciding where money should be wasted, it would be in the same boat as Utah.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostI would love to watch the Ute games, but it appears that the U has no TV stations. BYU has 2 of them, which might be a bit excessive."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

This is an awesome post. LOL!Originally posted by DU Ute View PostSU reminds me of a mission companion of mine who had an answer for every question and was right about everything. My favorite moment happened when a new teenage member asked why members paid less in tuition than non-members at BYU. He told her non-members were much more likely to vandalize property and cause other criminal problems, thus the increased tuition burden. He would have none of it when I tried to explain the real reason for the difference."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

Sean Smith was projected as a third/fourth round pick at the start of last season, he played his way in to round 2.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostThis is another way of stating the preseason rankings. Regardless, I don't caer what these ESPN windbags say about future draft picks a year before teh draft. Where did these fellows have Sean Smith this time last year?*Banned*

You, sir, are the reason I posted the question in the first place. I saw you toying with them and thought that the topic had potential.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostYou can chart my exact involvement along that time continuum, btw.....τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

I would to have SU as my attorney (fortunately or unfortunately he doesn't specialize in the type of law I generally use). However, he is passionate and articulate about defending his point, even when appears there isn't much of a point to defend.Originally posted by DU Ute View PostSU reminds me of a mission companion of mine who had an answer for every question and was right about everything. And no way he would have had such a lame answer as your companion. I'm sure his would have involved an explanation of how members are given a tuition stipend thus initiating the implied contract of a lifetime of tithing payment.

That's an answer he would give after wresting his soul back from Mark E. Peterson's sinewy grasp. You capture the contemporary SU very well, but his irrational hatred in his pre-apostate years is a bit of an anachronism.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostAnd no way he would have had such a lame answer as your companion. You can tell when SeattleUte is floundering. It is common amongst trial attorneys to use quotes from authors, poets, etc. when making oral arguments. SeattleUte uses this tactic effectively.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostI would to have SU as my attorney (fortunately or unfortunately he doesn't specialize in the type of law I generally use). Once SeattleUte starts quoting his "favorite" Bible passages, you know that he is conceding defeat and simply laying the foundation for his appeal.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

AA's thread starter "sublime"? LOL. Your taste is merde. I'm going to have to go back and reevaluate all those N.
