Lol. I hate it when old TVs refuse to die.

I told myself I wasn't going to replace it until it died. And I have been wanting to replace it for like 5 years now. But the wife was with me at Costco on a trip and she was looking at the TV's and she said "Wow. These look way better than our TV. Maybe it is time to think about replacing it." And with most things...once she's on board, stuff happens.

We bought our first house over the summer and this is the first time we have had a ridiculously oversized master bedroom. Our 42 inch TV on the wall opposite our bed looks tiny so my wife wants a 75 incher so it looks normal. America!

We have a medium-sized bedroom with a 65-inch TV. It is wonderful.

Our master is probably smaller than in the mansions you guys inhabit. I replaced the 26" TV in our bedroom with a 50" for my wife's birthday a couple of months ago.

At first she said it was too big. Now that she's more accustomed to the size, she has expressed great pleasure.

I pulled the trigger on a Black Friday deal for a 75" Samsung 4k QLED TV. Gets here today. Mount gets here tomorrow. Perfect time for it with this game. Can't wait to see the teal field. Lol.

We have a 52" in the family room and 42" TVs in the bedrooms nd kids playroom. We are in desperate need of a larger TV in our family room. My eyesight is getting so bad that I prefer watching games on my iPad or laptop so I'm only a couple of feet away. Our house has one of those recessed TV niche spaces above our gas fireplace. A bigger TV won't fit in it and the current TV hides the dumb hole. If we ever get a chance at a new house a bigger TV is being purchased.

We have a 52" in the family room and 42" TVs in the bedrooms nd kids playroom. We are in desperate need of a larger TV in our family room. My eyesight is getting so bad that I prefer watching games on my iPad or laptop so I'm only a couple of feet away. Our house has one of those recessed TV niche spaces above our gas fireplace. A bigger TV won't fit in it and the current TV hides the dumb hole. If we ever get a chance at a new house a bigger TV is being purchased.

I suppose this could go in the upgrades thread, but my television enjoyment was once hampered by the limiting confines of a 2002-built TV niche.

I took care of that over COVID lockdown.

Haven’t decided yet if I’m going to mount the TV or put a floating shelf above.

It is replacing a 52" Samsung Touch of Color TV that I bought in 2008 for the USC game. My first HD TV. Sonofabitch is still running. Moving into a spare bedroom.

I’m sitting on a 2006 62” 720p plasma that I wish would die. That sucker consumes power like crazy and puts out enough heat to warm the whole room.
