I also have a PhD, don't swear or screen at the boys, and I am the only coach that speaks French. As coaches, for some of the boys we father figures. Her English is great, but she is pleased that after games I am able to explain some of the nuances of the game in French.

Awesome…. It’s seems there was a website or something you could give recruiting tips to BYU athletics. (I found it once searching years ago.) In any case, get some highlight videos up and post some links. Youth football is great.

p.s. Think about taking him to a BYU football camp over the summer.

I sent a message to the recruiting coordinator. I am not confident I will get a response. Sending boys to a football camp isn't really feasible. They are in school until the last week of June. We are also in the middle of our season. We have huddle film, but will need to get some better footage of the upcoming season.

I usually email coaches directly. If you have a link to hudl or YouTube with video, they may take it more seriously. I’ve only had a few instances where the coaches responded, and it was typically for kids they already knew about.

Nice. I think our school record when I was lifting was about 500#. Of course we did parallel squats, and that was almost 40 years ago.
