Kuithe, Yassmin, Kendall. I think Utah would take him, but with the first two coming back he wasn't going to start. My guess is he wanted more guaranteed playing time..... Plus the girl.Originally posted by USUC View Post
If he was Utah worthy why would he end up at CSU? Although she is quite the incentive."The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

Her times last year would make her the #1 performer at utah in the 100, the 200 and the long jump (by 2 1/2 feet). They would have loved to have her is my guess. Now maybe they didn't offer her much, but she is good.

I think they will, but he is a mission kid, so he shouldn't play into Holker's decision.Originally posted by All-American View PostOr worse. Could be. His wife wouldn't be too happy about that, I imagine.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostHuh? Maybe his girlfriend is at CSU?
Lol @ Holker. What a huge mistake that was."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Family and friends. It was awesome. Throw in a football coach and AD and it would have been icing on the cake.Originally posted by All-American View Post

Colorado State is awful. Why doesn’t he just come back to BYU?"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I know I am old, but ever since this topic started, I have been trying to remember arriving back at the airport after my mission, and I can't.
I am pretty sure there were no college football coaches there, but I can't be 100% sure. I am also pretty sure there were no signs, ribbons, streamers, glitter, etc.
I do remember receiving my call, which was very different than today's custom of inviting the friends, live-streaming, etc.
I was the only one at home at the time (unusual, as there were 8 of 9 kids living there at the time). I opened it and saw that I was called to Hong Kong. No one was around to tell the news to, so I rode my bike over to the elementary school, where the annual school fair was being held, and my mother was there. I found her, and let her know. She cried, and said "That's so far away!" I thought that was odd, as whether I was in Hong Kong or Des Moines, our contact would be pretty much the same

Hey, let's get the Vivint summer sales people to start greeting missionaries. Sign them up on the spot."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Is Rising coming back or not. I had heard he already said he isn't. Wasn't Kuithe also considering leaving?Originally posted by Jarid in Cedar View Post
