The hypocrisy of saying a kid didn't go to BYU because he wanted to shirk a mission is absolutely killing. I want to puch a hole in my computer screen. And he's talking about a kid!
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

No, but he has referred to this statistic multiple times in the past and it was clear in those comments.

I think the real issue here is that in IMO, Bronco gets upset that kids say that they are planning on going on missions with no real intent on going. I think he truly believes that they use a mission to appease the pressure from their parents to go to BYU.

If Bronco wasn't so hell bent on kids serving a mission, BYU might get more of these kids. They probably think that they'll be pressured into going at BYU and it becomes a turn off.

In hearing from those close to the situation, from what I understand the kid DID want to go to BYU. So it isn't unreasonable to say that he didn't go to BYU because he didn't want to serve a mission.

The issue here is that Bronco openly talked about the issue with a national reporter..

I really think Bronco is a terrible human being. His ceaseless slandering of this kid, his false piety, really say it all. His hypcorisy is worse than the most abhorent of televangelists. Karma is going to annihilate him, if there is universal justice.
You are a beaut. You actually say something that makes sense and then you totally mess it up with some assinine attempt at trolling.

Honestly I don't think Bronco is hell bent on his players serving missions. BYU as a school is but as a football program I don't think he pressures them either way. He leaves it up to them to make their own choice and is going to support them 100% either way.

Why is it so hard to believe that Teo realized there was too much depth at LB at BYU, and so he went to Notre Dame to get a chance to start early?

                  Geez.

With our fantastic linebacker play last year, I agree!

Did any of you read the TBS hype on this kid. It was all about the religious dedication this kid had. BYU had a shot because this was an unusual kid and his religion comes first. On and ON and on and on. Same with Kaveinga.

These 17 years olds get built up as if they are Alma the Younger. Why, because that is a big part of the constituency you have to feed. Quite a bit of weight to put some of these kids.

The Te'os created that PR image all by themselves. All you needed to do was read national news stories about him.

It's gruesome. And to top it off, Bronco is like a bitter jilted ex, smearing the kid at every chance. No doubt the reporters' book on Bronco says, "Ask him about Teo..." He should be babbling like a mad man over what Whit did to him last year.

While I think you are stretching a bit, I am OK with the jist of what you are saying. I appreciate you not throwing out the "terrible person" card.
