    Will Tukuafu- served a mission

Looks like if you stay away from USC and Utah you are just fine in regards to a mission.
Hamani Stevens, the kid that went to Oregon is going on a mission I believe. I may be wrong though.

You are a reasonable guy. Don't you think it would be nice if we could get some of these no mission guys. Would it be OK if the coaches emphasized with kids that weren't mission prone that the coaches won't be pressuring them into going.

I wonder if they will leave Heaps alone.

Bronco is right (statistically) but what does he gain by pointing it out? I would be interested if you could list all the players that have gone to BYU that did not go on missions (or at least a percentage). Our current QB quit his mission. It just doesn't seem relevant to the football discussion because attendance at BYU doesn't even guarantee a mission.

As for trends, your list's strongest trend seems to be linked more to culture/ethnicity, not school.

Ironically, look at the success of SC and Utah over the past 5 or so years. Is BYU really being blessed for all the missionary service? I wish fewer of our football players went on missions, not more.

Then why weren't players that are already in the program that were involved given a similar punishment?

What's wrong with just saying he wishes Teo well and that episode of BYU athletics is over? Every school loses scores of recruiting battles and I've never seen a coach, great or awful, look back. It's really sordid seeing this grown man obsessively slander a kid.

I really think Bronco is a terrible human being. His ceaseless slandering of this kid, his false piety, really say it all. His hypcorisy is worse than the most abhorent of televangelists. Karma is going to annihilate him, if there is universal justice.

He can't be on that list. He went to BYU before his mission.

If they went to BYU before their mission or he recruited them after their mission (and not before) they don't support your point.

I wish Bronco would spend less time talking about lost recruits and spend more time filming the football promo video for the new season. What's this year's slogan?.......

Has Bronco ever accepted personal responsiblity for the big (illegal) kegar on his big recruiting weekend last fall? That was all the kids' fault I guess. I bet Teo's dad is too classy to say that that was good enough reason to send his kid to Notre Dame, a school with real honor.

I guess that makes it more plausible, but there's no indication of it being restricted to BCS schools in the interview.
